Good questions welcome
A little clarity before you begin.
Straightforward answers about the library, reference examples, wallet safety, research, and staying in the loop.
What will I find on DigitalAssetAPI.com?
A public reference library for digital asset APIs, tokenization, wallet experience design, ETF data, fund reporting, and AI-assisted research. Start with the API playbook for examples or the Field Notes blog for detailed guides.
Is there a live API or an API key to request?
No. The playbook contains static, fictional reference payloads that you can inspect, copy, and download. There is no hosted endpoint, account system, key issuance, or live market feed on this site. Production integrations require a separate provider and an appropriate security review.
Do I need to connect a wallet?
No. All articles, checklists, and examples are available without a wallet connection. This site does not ask for signatures, deposits, private keys, or recovery phrases. Please do not send secrets through email.
Where should a beginner start?
Begin with the digital asset API guide, keep the glossary nearby, and choose one solution blueprint. You do not need an account or coding environment to read them.
Are the ETF and fund articles investment advice?
No. They explain product terminology, data boundaries, and operational workflows. They do not assess your circumstances, recommend securities, or predict returns. Read the underlying product documents and seek qualified advice for consequential decisions.
How are technical claims supported?
Each Field Notes article links to one directly relevant primary reference. Protocol or provider behavior is distinguished from our proposed application patterns. Source scope and limitations matter; a practice documented by one provider is not automatically universal. See our editorial policy.
Can I use the JSON examples in a prototype?
Yes, as fictional fixtures for evaluation and internal prototyping. They are not production schemas or credentials. Download the files from the API playbook, and adapt the model to your provider, network, authorization rules, and operational requirements.
Do you publish real-time news or prices?
No. Field Notes is an educational article library, not a continuously monitored news desk or quote service. Publication dates identify the articles; they do not imply that a live market or regulatory update has been checked today.
How can I follow the library without signing up?
Use the RSS feed in an RSS reader. It contains the full article text and entries for substantive site resources. This website does not collect newsletter subscriptions.
How do I suggest a correction?
Email [email protected] with the page address, the specific statement, and a relevant public source. Omit private account data and credentials. See Contact for the information that makes a report useful.
